Incompressible and compressible viscous flow with low Mach numbers

Abstract

In this paper we compare incompressible flow and low Mach number compressible viscous flow. Incompressible Navier-Stokes equations are solved by the classical finite element method and compressible flow is treated with the aid of the discontinuous Galerkin method. Presented results give a good correspondence between the incompressible flow and the compressible low Mach number flow.
