Treatment of boundary conditions for conforming mixed finite elements for the elasticity problems

Abstract: Since conforming symmetric H(div) elements usually involve vertex degrees of freedom, it causes some trouble for discontinuous coefficients, mixed boundary conditions and inconsistent Neumann boundary conditions at the corners and on the edges of the domains. We design a strategy to overcome these difficulties.
